Colon Cancer and Diet - updated 3/6/11

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This post was originally published in March 2010. It has been reviewed and updated for 2011. The post discusses nutrition and colon cancer prevention. Before discussing diet, I must stress that the most effective way to prevent colorectal cancer is to screen for it in individuals at risk (everyone in the US over the age of 50).
